Director of Business Development & Senior Master of Pickleball Ceremonies: Kendall Graves

When our founder, Gregg Jacobs, met Kendall in January 2024, he knew that one day he would somehow be involved in business with him. He just didn't know what business or industry it would be in.
Then, fast-forward to September 2024 when he witnessed Kendall running the grand opening event for Apex Pickleball in Murfreesboro, Tennessee and it was there Gregg spotted it. At this event, Kendall's energy and passion was palpable and incredible! With a mic in his hand and a speaker hanging at his hip, he infused the event with excitement, fun, humor and entertainment that simply brought it to an unforeseeable level and experience.
Gregg told Kendall that one day, they would do something in business together. A few months later, Kendall and Gregg flirted with converting the Maryland Farms pickleball facility in Brentwood, Tennessee, the largest indoor pickleball facility at the time, from just a venue to an 'experience'. But Williamson County Parks and Rec Department couldn't approve the initiative. So back to the drawing board Gregg went. Then, 6 months later in September 2025, the idea of Paddles 'n Peaks emerged. Gregg called Kendall, asked him to join him on building this company, and the rest was history.
Gregg hired Kendall, not just to be the Director of Business Development, but to be our Senior Master of Pickleball Ceremonies (MPC). This role will be a critical role for us in order to achieve the levels of guest satisfaction for which we are striving. And Kendall is building a team to ensure we hit our goal.
Over the past 6 years, Kendall has help facilities and coaches create programs that are high-quality and highly engaging, and he has perfected how to infuse high-level pickleball training with a high level of fun, energy, and engagement. He has created and led immersive training programs and events across the U.S. and internationally, uniquely blending elite instruction, entertainment, and community-building.
Beyond the court, Kendall serves on the Executive Board of Humanility, a non-profit supporting at-risk youth in the Philippines. His leadership reflects his belief that pickleball is more than a sport, it’s a vehicle for connection, confidence, and community.
