With more than 20 years of experience in recreation and physical education, Matt understands how to create an environment that is both high-performance and deeply welcoming. Currently an elementary physical education teacher in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, he is known for his ability to connect, motivate, and build confidence—skills that translate seamlessly from the gymnasium to the pickleball court.

 

Matt’s coaching style blends structure with enthusiasm, offering guests a polished, professional experience that still feels personal and fun. Whether working with first-time players or competitive athletes, he focuses on fundamentals, strategy, and smart shot selection—always tailored to each individual’s goals.

 

Off the court, Matt is a proud girl dad to three daughters, a passionate golfer, and a loyal St. Louis Cardinals fan who makes regular trips to catch games at Busch Stadium. That balance of family, sport, and joy shapes the way he shows up for every guest—present, positive, and fully invested.​​​​
