Perhaps more than any other sport, Pickleball, at a foundational level promotes community. And over the course of an 18-year career that has taken me all over the world, that one pillar – community - continues to drive what I do every day.

I first got into Pickleball in 2012 as one of the very first USAPA ambassadors for the New Orleans area. I helped grow the Pickleball base at my club from a solitary few to counting in the dozens. We even sent some of our players to the senior games in Minnesota a few years later.

Years later, I now stand as Director of Racquets for Portres, a new Pickleball facility in the heart of Philadelphia! It is so exciting seeing the Pickleball base grow here at a brand-new club. So proud to be a part of it.

Additionally, I am an elite certified professional with the Racquet Sports Professional Association (RSPA) and I am a coach developer in training with the same organization. While I tend to focus on more of the tactical side with my coaching, I never lose sight of why we walk on to the court – for the fun! See you all in Lake Tahoe!
